Since it’s inception back in the early 1900’s Loscam has grown to become, today, a leading logistics provider to the retail, grocery, food manufacturing, hardware, Transport & logistics industries. This has been achieved by listening to our customers, providing innovative products and value for money at every opportunity.
Loscam has over 3.4million wooden pallets in its national pool and a similar number across 8 countries in Asia. To assist our customers with daily tasks of managing their pallet transactions, Loscam provides two unique products, Hire Management System (HMS) and Loscam On Line. When used together, every customer has 24/7 access to their account/s.
Back in 1993 Loscam identified the negative impacts hardwood pallets had on our environment and introduced its ‘New-Generation’ pallet made entirely from plantation radiata pine. The other benefits of the ‘New-Generation’ pallet is its weight, 8-15 kilos lighter than standard hardwood pallets, it also provides 85% deck coverage and being made from radiata pine nails can be countersunk into the boards thus reducing the risk of damage to our customers valuable products.
Loscam’s wooden pallets are widely accepted by every major retailer across Australia. Loscam also works very closely with these retailers ensuring that we have first hand knowledge of what is required to deliver the best quality repair pallet for the modern retail environment.
Loscam also provides a range of hire equipment to assist in moving your products around this vast country of ours. These include: Plastic pallets, Pallet Collar surrounds and lids, Gpaks and plastic produce bins.

SICK Logistic products and applications |

Preventing collisions and downtimes worldwide
Every day, problems delay and interrupt port operations - either completely or partially - all over the world. For minutes, hours or even longer. As a result, every year a lot of money is wasted reparing port equipment or because of damage to the transported goods. SICK's scanners help terminal operators to considerably reduce the probability of collisions between cranes, vehicles and goods. Though SICK products have also become indispensable for the positioning of cranes or containers .
Positioning a truck below a ship-to-shore crane
HGVs transport temporarily stored containers from stacks to ship-to-shore cranes. Laser Measurement Systems determine the position of the HGV below the crane.
Reading ladder-type bar codes on packages
Packages at a package distribution centre must be assigned to the correct post office. A line scanner reads the information contained in a bar code attached to the side of the package.
Collision protection in the working area of a crane jib on a ship-to-shore crane
A Laser Measurement System with warning and protective fields prevents collisions between the ship-to-shore crane and the ship’s bridge or other structures.

Logistics Consultants and Warehouse Consulting Services from Supply Today |
|   |
Overview
When providing Logistics Consultants we employ a true hands-on approach. We don’t just tell you what needs to be done; we do it. In the time it takes others to write a 500 page report, we’ll have the whole job done and you’ll already be enjoying measurable results. (Of course, if you want a 500 page report, we can do that too!)
Warehousing Consulting
Warehousing is deceivingly simple. Many believe that the function is so straight-forward that any decent manager can run an effective warehouse. Then when the operation does not run smoothly, it is not easy to recognise why.
At Supply Today we provide total solutions to put your operations back on track by using a lean six sigma approach, and applying technology solutions so you get maximum process visibility and real time information. We adapt to change without interruption in a warehousing environment and consistently accept responsibility beyond the task at hand.
Project Management
Project Management is often perceived as a task relevant only to larger corporations involved in highly complex operations or something that’s shared as part of normal day to day operations. In reality, this is not an accurate perception.
In response, Supply Today has designed a process known as A Project Definition Assessment (PDA), that allows you to evaluate in detail the issues and tasks that need to be considered before deciding whether to fully commit to the project or not. This will minimise setbacks and avoid problematic projects that could potentially be financially detrimental to your company.
Logistics Consulting
